When Sarah was approved for The Lofts at Bahama Village, AH Monroe’s new tax credit housing development, everything changed.
“I not only knew I could afford rent — I finally had stability. I’ll never have to fear my home being sold from under me again.”
A New Chapter in Affordable Housing
The Lofts at Bahama Village is a transformative project in the heart of Old Town Key West. Through a partnership with the City of Key West and other community stakeholders, AH Monroe is proud to bring 98 energy-efficient, mixed-income units to a part of the island steeped in history and resilience. The project includes both rental and ownership opportunities, with a focus on creating long-term, affordable housing for locals. For residents like Sarah, The Lofts are more than just an apartment — they mean stability and the chance to remain part of a community she loves, contribute in meaningful ways, and put down lasting roots.
