Celebrating 30 Years of Flavor and Impact: Taste of Key West Returns March 24

Mar 10, 2025 | Featured, News & Updates

In 1995, twenty local restaurants gathered to support our community through their culinary crafts. Today, that modest gathering has evolved into Key West’s premier food and wine event, with more than 40 restaurants joining forces to create an unforgettable evening of flavors and purpose.

“My wife Judy and I always want to do all we can to support the community and plan to continue for years to come!” shares John Correa, owner of Cafe Sole, who has been part of Taste of Key West since its inception. This dedication from local restaurateurs like John has transformed a simple gathering into a cherished tradition that fuels vital community services.

What’s New for Our 30th Anniversary

This milestone year promises to be our most exciting yet. More than 40 of Key West’s finest restaurants will showcase their signature dishes against the stunning backdrop of Truman Waterfront Park. New this year, guests can capture their evening at our designated selfie station and meet Captain Love, AH Monroe’s safer sex hero, who’ll be mingling with attendees throughout the event.

Republic National Distributing Company returns with a carefully curated selection of wines, craft beers, and spirits to complement the extraordinary array of culinary offerings. As the sun sets over the waterfront, guests will experience the perfect blend of local flavors and community spirit.

Supporting Our Keys Community

“Taste of Key West has been a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts for 30 years, allowing us to provide health, housing, and hope to our Keys community,” explains Scott Pridgen, Executive Director of AH Monroe. “What began as a modest gathering has blossomed into a beloved tradition that truly embodies the spirit of Key West – exceptional food, generous hearts, and neighbors helping neighbors.”

Through recent partnerships, including collaboration with the Florida Keys Outreach Coalition (FKOC), AH Monroe continues to expand its impact on housing security throughout the region, while maintaining vital HIV care and prevention services and community support through our local food pantry.
